January 28 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) fell on Tuesday, as electrical equipment manufacturer Koncar Elektroindustrija [ZSE:KOEI] paced the blue-chip losers for a second straight trading day, ZSE data showed.
Koncar's shares closed at 635 kuna, down 1.55%.
Arena Hospitality Group [ZSE:ARNT] led the blue-chip gainers on Tuesday, as its shares closed 1.06% higher at 382 kuna.
Adris Grupa [ZSE:ADRS] generated the highest trading turnover among the blue chips on Tuesday - of 11.75 million kuna, including a block transaction in the company's ordinary shares of 8.9 million kuna. The company's ordinary shares closed 0.89% higher at 565 kuna, whereas its preferred shares closed flat at 500 kuna.
Tuesday's turnover was boosted by another block transaction in the shares of food producer Podravka [ZSE:PODR] worth 7 million kuna. The company's shares traded 0.21% lower at 473 kuna.
Hrvatski Telekom [HT] added 2.5 million kuna in ZSE's total trading turnover on Tuesday, as its shares closed at 184 kuna, down 0.54%.
The ZSE's total trading turnover soared to 30 million kuna ($4.4 million/4.0 million euro) on Tuesday from 7.8 million kuna on Monday.
The 25-share benchmark CROBEX index fell 0.25% to 2,025.32 after dropping 0.70% in the previous trading session.
The narrower of ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, also dropped 0.25% to 1,208.42 after decreasing by 0.64% on Monday.
The fixed-income CROBIS index added 0.03% to 115.5018.
