March 1 (SeeNews) - Croatian power transformers manufacturer Koncar Distributivni i Specijalni Transformatori Koncar D&ST [ZSE:KODT, KODT2] said its consolidated after-tax profit rose to 123.8 million kuna ($17.5 million/16.4 million euro) last year, from 99.3 million kuna in 2021.
Overall revenue rose 34% on the year to 1.967 billion kuna in 2022, the company said in an unaudited consolidated financial statement.
Operating costs went up to 1.782 billion kuna from 1.340 billion kuna. Pre-tax profit rose 39% to 199.6 million kuna.
The Koncar D&ST group consists of Croatian developer and producer of power transformers of up to 160 MVA and 170 kV Koncar D&ST d.d. and Polish manufacturer and seller of power transformers of up 63 MVA and 145kV, Power Engineering Transformatory Sp. z o.o. (PET). It had 815 employees at the end of the last year, including 744 in Croatia and 71 in Poland.
Koncar D&ST is part of Croatia’s electrical equipment manufacturer Koncar [ZSE:KOEI].
The ordinary shares of Koncar D&ST traded 3.93% higher at 370 euro on the Zagreb bourse intraday on Wednesday, its preferred shares were quoted 3.37% higher at 368 kuna, while Koncar’s shares surged 4.65% to 135 euro.
