September 2 (SeeNews) - Croatia's jobless rate decreased to 7.1% in July from 8.4% a year earlier but was the highest among all Southeast European member states of the European Union for which data was available, the bloc's statistical office said.
On a monthly comparison basis, Croatia's jobless rate remained unchanged.
In Romania, unemployment was the lowest among EU member states in SEE, at 3.9% at the end of July, Eurostat said on Friday.
Data for Greece is unavailable for the months of July and June. In May, Greece posted the highest jobless rate in the EU - 17.2%.
