January 18 (SeeNews) - Croatian oil pipeline operator Janaf [ZSE: JNAF] said on Wednesday it signed a contract for crude oil storage with Swiss-based trading company Litasco, a unit of Russia's Lukoil, for the period from April 1, 2023 to end-March 2025.
The contract is for the storage of 239,856 cubic metres of crude oil at the Janaf capacities, Janaf said in a press release without elaborating.
Majority state-owned Janaf operates terminals for crude oil and oil products located on the island of Krk, as well as in Sisak, Virje, Slavonski Brod and Zitnjak.
Janaf's shares last traded on December 28 on the Zagreb Stock Exchange, when they closed 9.26% higher at 5,900 kuna ($837/783 euro).
Litasco was founded in 2000 and is the exclusive international marketing and trading company of Russian Lukoil Oil Company, according to the website of the Swiss company.
