In January-February, petrol remained the most popular fuel type for newly-registered cars in Croatia, with 3,432 sold cars, followed by hybrid electric passenger cars (1,465) and diesel ones (1,328), ACEA said in a statement.
In the first two months of the year, the EU market reached almost 1.6 million new cars registered, up 11.4% from the previous year, thanks to double-digit increases in both January and February, ACEA said.
New passenger car registrations in Croatia fell by 4.4% on the year in 2022, to 42,939, ACEA said earlier.
