March 25 (SeeNews) - Registrations of new commercial vehicles in Croatia dropped by an annual 5.2% to 1,488 in the first two months of this year, the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association, ACEA, said on Friday.
Registrations of new light commercial vehicles of up to 3.5 tonnes fell by 7.5% on the year to 1,283 vehicles in the January-February period, ACEA said in a statement, citing provisional data.
Registrations of new medium and heavy commercial vehicles of over 3.5 tonnes rose 18.5% on the year to 199 in the review period.
New commercial vehicle registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, fell by 13.5% year-on-year to 257,127 in the first two months of this year.
In EU12, which encompasses member states that have joined the EU since 2004, registrations were 5.1% lower at 34,867.
