ZAGREB (Croatia), September 17 (SeeNews) - New passenger car registrations in Croatia increased by 36.7% on the year to 34,387 in the first eight months of 2021, the European Automobile Manufacturers Association, (ACEA) said, quoting provisional figures.

In August alone, new passenger car registrations in Croatia rose 8.3% to 2,815, ACEA said in a statement on Thursday.

New passenger car registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, rose 11.2% year-on-year to 6.8 million in the January-August period of 2021.

In 2020, new passenger car registrations in Croatia decreased by 43% to 36,005.
