May 18 (SeeNews) - New passenger car registrations in Croatia fell by 5.0% on the year in the first four months of 2022, to 13,893, the European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA) said on Wednesday, quoting provisional figures.
In April alone, new passenger car registrations in Croatia rose by 2.7% on the year to 4,258, ACEA said in a statement.
New passenger car registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, declined 14.4% year-on-year to 2.9 million in the January-April period of 2022, ACEA said in a statement.
In EU12, which encompasses member states that have joined the EU since 2004, registrations were 6.8% lower on the year at 363,729 in the first four months of 2022.
New passenger car registrations in Croatia increased by 25% to 44,915 in 2021, following a 43% drop in 2020.
