August 31 (SeeNews) - Croatian state-owned shipping company Jadrolinija said it has launched a tender for the purchase of three passenger catamarans with an estimated total value of 18.3 million euro ($19.8 million).
The deadline to submit bids is September 26, by 12 am local time, Jadrolinija said in a tender notice published earlier this week on the local website for public procurement of Croatian gazette Narodne Novine.
Earlier this summer, Jadrolinija bought two passenger catamarans from local privately-owned shipping company Tankerska Plovidba for a total of 13.4 million euro.
Jadrolinija's fleet includes 38 ro-ro ships and 12 catamarans.
