March 28 (SeeNews) - Croatia's industrial sales rose by 17.1% on the year in January, after growing by an annual 15.1% in December, the country's statistical office said on Tuesday.
Energy sales soared 61.2%, sales of capital goods increased 18.8%, sales of non-durable consumer goods increased by 16.9%, sales of durable consumer good rose 14.8% and sales of intermediate goods went up by 12.6% on an annual comparison basis in January, the statistical office said in a monthly report.
On a monthly comparison basis, Croatia's total seasonally and working-day adjusted industrial sales rose 4.5% in January, following a decline of 1.4% in December.
