October 28 (SeeNews) - Croatia's industrial sales decreased by 4% year-on-year in August, the country's statistical office said on Monday.
Industrial exports fell 6.9% on an annual comparison basis, while domestic industrial sales dropped 4.3%, the statistical office said in a statement.
Sales of intermediate goods decreased by 1.3% on the year, while sales of non-durable consumer goods shrank 10.6%. Sales of durable goods added 4.1% year-on-year.
Sales of capital goods decreased by 8.4% year-on-year in August, while sales of energy rose by 6.1%.
On a monthly comparison basis, Croatia's industrial sales decreased by 4.4% in August.
Croatia's industrial sales edged down 0.1% in the January-August period.
