March 27 (SeeNews) - Croatia's industrial sales decreased by 2.4% year-on-year in January, after falling by an annual 7% in December, the country's statistical office said on Friday.
Industrial exports fell 5.9% on an annual comparison basis in January, while domestic industrial sales edged down 0.1%, the statistical office said in a statement.
Sales of intermediate goods added 1% on the year, while sales of non-durable consumer goods fell 7.5%. Sales of durable goods dropped 16% year-on-year.
Sales of capital goods lost 1.2% year-on-year in January, while sales of energy fell sharply, by 16%.
On a monthly comparison basis, Croatia's industrial sales increased by 5.6% in January.
The country's industrial sales decreased by 1.8% year-on-year in 2019.
