September 16 (SeeNews) - Croatian civil engineering company IGH [ZSE:IGH] said it has signed a 4.4 million kuna contract to supervise the works on the 180 million kuna ($27 million/24 million euro) project for the construction of part of the ring road of the city of Omis.
Both amounts are without VAT included, IGH said in an e-mailed statement on Friday.
The company will carry out construction and financial supervision of the works on the section DC70 - Cetina brigde - Omis East. The section will be built by Austria's Strabag, which was the sole bidder in a tender opened by national road operator Hrvatske Ceste at the end of 2018, according to earlier media reports.
Omis is located on the Adriatic coast, some 25 km south of Split, the second largest city in Croatia.
The ssignment has a duration of 36 months.
IGH shares closed 2.67% higher at 154 kuna on the Zagreb bourse on Friday. No company shares changed hands in the early hours of trading on Monday.
