ZAGREB (Croatia), September 13 (SeeNews) - Croatia's biggest telecommunications operator, Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT-R-A] said on Thursday the sale of its electric energy business to RWE Hrvatska d.o.o. has been completed.
HT said in a Zagreb bourse filing that all the necessary regulatory approvals have been obtained and that the purchase price has been paid.
The transaction will not influence the provision of telecommunication services to HT customers who were its electric energy services customers until the sale, the company noted.
HT and RWE Hrvatska concluded a contract in early June thereby initiating the process of the transfer of HT's electric energy business segment to RWE Hrvatska.
The Croatian energy regulator, HERA, granted a licence to Hrvatski Telekom to supply electricity in October 2013.
