November 29 (SeeNews) - Croatian hotel operator Plava Laguna [ZSE:PLAG-R-A] said it will invest 298.2 million kuna ($45.7 million/40.2 million euro) in its facilities in 2019.
The bulk of the investments will go towards the construction of the company's headquarters in Porec and the reconstruction of the Savudrija camping site, Plava Laguna said in a filing with the Zagreb Stock Exchange on Wednesday.
Plava Laguna will also invest in the overhaul of its facilities for the accommodation of employees in Umag and Porec, the company said.
Porec-based Plava Laguna can daily accommodate over 20,000 guests of whom more than 8,000 in hotels and apartments and over 12,000 in camps, as it annually reports over 2.3 million overnight stays. The company's majority shareholder is the Adriatic Investment Group with a 84.24% stake.
