September 1 (SeeNews) - Croatia's general government debt rose to 46.324 billion euro ($50.1 billion) in May, from 45.708 billion euro in the same month of 2022, central bank figures showed.
On a monthly comparison basis, general government debt dipped 0.9% in May, according to data published by the Croatian National Bank on Thursday.
In May, the domestic component of general government debt increased by 9.5% on the year to 32.497 billion euro, while the external component fell by 13.7% to 13.827 billion euro.
Croatia joined the eurozone as its 20th member on January 1.
