April 17 (SeeNews) - Croatian pharmaceuticals company Genera [ZSE:VERN-R-A] said it posted a net profit of 4.6 million kuna ($649,400/608,000 euro) in the first quarter of 2015 versus a net loss of 7 million kuna booked a year earlier.
First-quarter operating profit amounted to 8.4 million kuna, compared to an operating loss of 5.7 million kuna in the corresponding period of the previous year, the company said in a bourse filing on Thursday. Pre-tax profit stood at 6.8 million kuna versus a pre-tax loss of 7 million kuna in the first quarter of 2014.
Genera's total revenue surged to 67 million kuna in the first three months of 2015 from 42.5 million kuna in the like period a year earlier.
Its total assets decreased to 332 million kuna at the end of March from 342 million kuna a year earlier.
According to latest available figures, Genera's share capital was unchanged at 184.5 million kuna in the first quarter of 2015. Total liabilities amounted to 172.9 million kuna, compared to 188.9 million kuna a year earlier.
