November 28 (SeeNews) - Croatia's annual gross domestic product (GDP) growth slowed to a real 2.8% in the third quarter from 2.9% in the preceding quarter, a flash estimate of the country's statistical office showed on Wednesday.
On a seasonally adjusted basis, Croatia's economy expanded by 2.7% year-on-year and by 0.6% quarter-on-quarter, following a 2.8% yearly growth rate and a 1.1% quarter-on-quarter growth in the second quarter of 2018, the Croatian Bureau of Statistics said in a statement.
The largest positive contribution to GDP expansion in the third quarter of 2018 came from an increase in the export of goods and services, the statistical office said in a statement.
Exports of goods and services rose 3.7% in the third quarter, after narrowing 5.6% in the quarter earlier. Exports of goods alone increased 5.2% from July to September, after growing 7.1% in April to June, while services went up 2.5%, versus a 4.3% growth in the previous quarter.
