September 3 (SeeNews) - Croatia's Finance Minister Zdravko Maric said the country's gross domestic product (GDP) could expand by around 7% this year - more than the originally projected growth rate of 5%, given the latest macroeconomic data, state news agency Hina reported.
Overall tax revenue collected from January 1 to August 31 was 0.7% higher than in the same period of last year, while value added tax collection was higher by more than 4%, Hina quoted Maric as saying on Thursday.
Croatia's economic output rose by a real 16.1% year-on-year in the second quarter of 2021, the statistical office said last week.
The country's economic output declined by a real 8.4% in 2020.
