January 27 (SeeNews) - The estimated value of Croatia's agricultural output rose 8.1% last year to 19.7 billion kuna ($2.9 billion/2.6 billion euro), the country's statistical office said on Thursday.
The value of real income in agriculture in 2021 is estimated at 10.302 billion kuna, an annual increase of 3.1%, the office said in a statement.
The office expects that the gross value added of the agricultural sector will be 5.8% higher at 9.2 billion kuna in 2021.
In September, prime minister Andrej Plenkovic said that Croatia will aim to increase the annual value of its agricultural output to 30 billion kuna by the end of 2030 from some 20 billion kuna at present.
