March 24 (SeeNews) - Croatia's Erste&Steiermaerkische Bank d.d., part of Austria's Erste group, reported on Friday a consolidated net profit of the bank and its subsidiaries before minority interests of 1.172 billion kuna ($167 million/156 million euro) for last year, up from 1.069 billion kuna in 2021, thanks to growth in both loans and deposits.
Net interest income rose 5.6% on the year to 2.121 billion kuna. Net revenue from commissions and fees increased 9.3% to 884 million kuna, Erste&Steiermaerkische Bank said an annual financial statement.
The bank's assets grew 22.3% on the year to 112.9 billion kuna at the end of December.
Deposits in the bank totalled 84.2 billion kuna, an annual increase of 23.3%.
Loans to customers rose 16.2% to 58.1 billion kuna.
