March 6 (SeeNews) - Croatia’s Erste Asset Management, a unit of Austrian banking group Erste, said on Monday it has set up a new three-year fund for investments in government bonds of European Union countries with a high credit rating.
The new fund, Erste Horizont 2026, is aimed at all investors who want to keep the value of their money in the next three years and achieve a targeted yield of least 2% per year, or more than 6.5% overall, the company said in a press release. The minimum investment amount in the new fund is set at 50 euro ($53).
The subscription started on March 6 and will close on March 29, when the fund will start operating. It will keep the bonds that it would invest in until their maturity, by 7 May 2026.
Erste Asset Management runs in Croatia eight open-ended investment funds, one alternative investment fund and private portfolios of individuals.
