January 5 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) rebounded on Thursday, the fourth trading day after the adoption of the euro in the Adriatic country, bourse data showed.
The 18-share CROBEX added 0.15% to end at 2,006.79 points. The narrower CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten issuers in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, rose 0.27% to finish at 1,169.14 points.
Preferred shares of diversified holding company Adris [ZSE:ADRS2] were the most traded stock with a turnover of 55,800 euro ($59,000), as they rose 1.21% to close at 50 euro. Car parts maker AD Plastik [ZSE:ADPL] ranked second by turnover with 41,300 euro, as its shares fell 0.93% to end at 10.60 euro.
Port operator Luka Rijeka [ZSE:LKRI] was the biggest daily gainers with an 18.03% increase in its equity price, to end at 10.80 euro, as 1,012 of its shares changed hands.
The bourse's total trading turnover fell to 338,128 euro from 486,500 euro on Wednesday. The prices are quoted in both euro and kuna.
On Friday, the bourse is closed due to Epiphany, a public and market holiday. The next trading session is on Monday.
