June 11 (SeeNews) - The number of IPTV subscribers in Croatia totalled 413,283 at the end of the first quarter, down 0.09% on the quarter, but 1.64% higher year-on-year, according to official data.
Revenues in Croatia's television services market totalled 188.5 million kuna ($30.1 million/25.5 million euro) in January-March, up 2.81% quarter on-quarter and 5.45% higher year-on-year, figures published on the website of the country's telecommunications regulator, HAKOM, shows.
In the first quarter of the year there were 170,299 cable receptions, 0.63% higher on the quarter and 2.85% on the year, 178,549 satellite receptions, up 0.31% compared to the previous quarter and 0.19% on the year, as well as 649,328 terrestrial digital receptions, a decrease by 0.45% on the quarter and 3.48% on the year.
Croatia has a population of around 4.2 million.
