December 12 (SeeNews) - The overall revenue of Croatia's electronic communications market rose 3.2% on the year to 8.9 billion kuna ($1.2 million/1.2 million euro) in the first nine months of 2022, the country's telecommunications regulator, HAKOM, said.
The growth was driven primarily by a 6% increase of revenue from broadband internet, a 3.2% rose in revenue from rents of networks and a 4.0% growth in revenue from paid TV services, HAKOM said in a statement on Friday.
The share of users of broadband access with a speed above 100 Mbit/s is on the rise, reaching 34% at the end of September. the regulator noted.
The fixed-line segment of phone services marked a 1.8% year-on-year drop in the number of users and a 7.5% decline in total revenue in the third quarter of this year.
