April 27 (SeeNews) - Croatian dairy company Dukat said on Friday the group's consolidated net profit rose 25.7% on the year to 30.4 million kuna ($5.0 million/4.1 million euro) in the first quarter of 2018.
Sales revenues increased 6.2% to 853 million kuna in the three months though March, while earnings before interest and trade (EBIT) amounted to 38.3 million kuna, up 19% over the same period last year on the back of improved results on international markets, Dukat said in a consolidated annual financial report filed with the Zagreb bourse.
Sales revenue on external markets made up 60.5% of the company's total sales revenue, or 515.8 million kuna, in the first quarter, up 6.2% on the year.
Dukat Group is made up of parent company Dukat and 13 affiliates in Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia, Serbia, Macedonia, Kosovo and Bulgaria.
