ZAGREB (Croatia), August 12 (SeeNews) – Croatian blue-chip Djuro Djakovic Group [ZSE:DDJH] said on Monday it signed a 137 million kuna ($20.8 million/18.5 million euro) contract to deliver wagons for cold rolled sheet steel coils to a French client.
Djuro Djakovic did not provide the name of the client in a statement filed with the Zagreb Stock Exchange.
The contract was signed by company's subsidiary Djuro Djakovic Special Vehicles (DDSV).
The delivery of the wagons will begin at the end of 2019 and continue throughout 2020, the statement said.
The contract concerns the production and delivery of 4-axle covered Shimmns-type wagons, which transport sheet metal coils primarily for the automobile industry, it added.
In the past 10 years, DDSV has developed, produced and delivered a big quantity and variety of freight wagons for clients in Western Europe.
The company is also active in the production of armoured combat vehicles and develops a tank modernization programme, in line with the newest military technologies that include mobility upgrading, firepower enhancement and survivability improvement.
