May 26 (SeeNews) - Croatia's Djuro Djakovic group [ZSE:DDJH-R-A] said on Thursday that its unit Djuro Djakovic Special Vehicles signed an 83 million kuna ($11.8 million/11 million euro) contract to manufacture and deliver its Shimmns freight rail carriages to an unnamed Swiss company.
The freight wagons would be delivered in the second half of 2022, Djuro Djakovic said in a filing with the Zagreb Stock Exchange.
The rail carriages are designed to transport sheet metal used mainly in the car manufacturing industry.
Shares of Djuro Djakovic surged 13% to 2.26 kuna intraday on Thursday on the Zagreb Stock Exchange.
