August 23 (SeeNews) - Croatia's Djuro Djakovic group [ZSE:DDJH-R-A] said on Tuesday that its unit Djuro Djakovic Special Vehicles signed an 189.9 million kuna ($25 million/25 million euro) contract to manufacture and deliver its Shimmns freight rail carriages to GATX Rail Europe (GRE), a subsidiary of US full-service railcar lessor GATX.
The freight wagons would be delivered in the first half of 2023, Djuro Djakovic said in a filing with the Zagreb Stock Exchange last week.
The rail carriages are designed to transport sheet metal used mainly in the car manufacturing industry.
Shares of Djuro Djakovic traded at 90 kuna on Tuesday morning on the Zagreb Stock Exchange, up 5.88%.
