ZAGREB (Croatia), February 28 (SeeNews) – Croatia's Djuro Djakovic Group [ZSE:DDJH] said on Thursday its consolidated net loss narrowed to 26.4 million kuna ($4.04 million/3.5 million euro) in 2018, from 27.1 million kuna a year earlier.
The main source of last year's loss was the segment of manufacturing of heavy equipment - Djuro Djakovic Industrial Solutions, which incurred a loss of 18.1 million kuna, the group said in a filing to the Zagreb Stock Exchange.
The company's total consolidated revenues fell 9% on the year to 501.5 million kuna in 2018, while costs decreased to 527.9 million kuna from 583.7 million kuna.
The group's consolidated earnings before interest, depreciation, taxes and amortization (EBIDTA) totalled 10.3 million kuna, down 4.1 million kuna on 2017.
One of the company's goals in 2019 is to restructure Djuro Djakovic Industrial Solutions unit in order to prevent it from accumulating further losses, it said.
