August 4 (SeeNews) - Croatian power transmission equipment manufacturer Dalekovod [ZSE:DLKV-R-A] said its net profit fell to 20.4 million kuna ($3.2 million/2.7 million euro) in the first half of 2020, from 36.7 million kuna a year earlier.
The company's earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) rose 5.6 times year-on-year in the review period, reaching 25.4 million kuna, Dalekovod said in its unaudited first-half financial report filed with the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) last week.
The company's operating revenue rose 17.5% to 489 million kuna, whereas sales revenue increased 24.9% to 469 million kuna in the first half of 2020.
Operating costs grew 12.7% to 463.6 million kuna.
Dalekovod Group's consolidated net profit amounted to 5.85 million kuna in the first half of 2020, down from 30 million kuna a year earlier.
The group's consolidated total operating revenue rose 8% on the year to 601.4 million kuna in the first half of 2020, while operating costs added 3.5% to 585.7 million kuna.
Dalekovod Group's consolidated EBITDA rose by 21.35 million kuna year-on-year in the first six months of 2020, reaching 32 million kuna.
