September 5 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) fell on Thursday, as power transmission equipment manufacturer Dalekovod [ZSE:DLKV] led the blue-chip losers, bourse data showed.
Dalekovod's share price fell 2.5% to 5.46 kuna on Thursday.
Zagrebacka Banka [ZSE:ZABA] lead the blue-chip gainers, as its shares closed at 59.50 kuna, up 0.85%.
Tourism company Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] generated the highest turnover among the blue chips on Thursday, of 949,389 kuna. The company's shares closed 0.54% lower at 36.60 kuna.
Valamar said earlier on Thursday that it has bought back a total of 11,612 of its shares in the previous two days, increasing its treasury stock to 3,643,658 shares representing 2.8912% of issued share capital.
ZSE's total trading turnover halved to 6.1 million kuna ($910,756/823,995 euro) on Thursday, from 11.7 million kuna on Wednesday.
The 25-share benchmark CROBEX index fell by 0.19% to 1,865.86 on Thursday after rising by 0.06% in the previous trading session.
The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, lost 0.10% to 1,086.31 after advancing 0.12% on Wednesday.
The fixed-income CROBIS index edged down 0.01% to 116.5318.
