April 17 (SeeNews) - The indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) closed higher on Wednesday, with transmission equipment manufacturer Dalekovod [ZSE:DLKV] leading the blue-chip gainers, bourse data showed.
Dalekovod's shares closed 4.48% higher at 7 kuna.
Shipbuilding company Viktor Lenac [ZSE:VLEN] paced the blue-chip decliners, as its shares closed 2.44% lower at 4.80 kuna.
Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT] was the most traded blue chip on the ZSE on Wednesday, generating a turnover of 9.1 million kuna, including an 8 million block transaction.
Tourism company Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] also generated revenue through a block transaction, of 2 million kuna.
ZSE's total trading turnover jumped to 25 million kuna ($3.8 million/3.4 million euro), from 5.8 million kuna on Tuesday.
The 25-share benchmark share index CROBEX increased by 0.22% to 1,810.24 after falling 0.60% on Tuesday.
The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, grew by 0.31% to 1,066.88 after increasing 0.04% in the previous trading session.
The fixed-income CROBIS edged down 0.03% to 112.5857.
