July 16 (SeeNews) - Croatia's consumer prices rose by 2.0% year-on-year in June, after increasing by 2.1% on the year in May, the statistical office said on Friday.
On a monthly comparison basis, Croatia's consumer price index (CPI) were flat in June, following a marginal increase of 0.1% in May, the Bureau of Statistics said in a monthly inflation report.
The prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages, which have the biggest weight of 27.20% in the consumer basket, edged down 0.1% year-on-year in June, after declining 0.7% on the year in May.
The prices of housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuel prices, which have 17.73% weight, gained 1.6% year-on-year in June, after rising at the same pace in May.
Croatia's average consumer price inflation slowed down to 0.1% in 2020, from 0.8% in 2019 and 1.5% in 2018.
