November 15 (SeeNews) - The number of building permits issued in Croatia rose by 2.7% on the year to 957 in September, the statistical office said on Tuesday.
The number of permits issued for buildings rose 2.2% year-on-year to 839 in September, while the number of permits for civil engineering projects increased 6.3% to 118, the Croatian Bureau of Statistics said in a monthly report.
Out of all permits issued in September, 783 covered new construction projects, while 174 were issued for reconstruction works.
Based on the number of permits issued in September, 1,500 dwellings are planned to be built, up 16.6% on the year.
The number of building permits issued in Croatia rose by 12.2% year-on-year to 10,553 in 2021.
