January 14 (SeeNews) - The number of construction permits issued in Croatia in November rose by 2.6% year-on-year to 800, after falling 16% in the previous month, the statistical office said on Tuesday.
The number of permits issued for buildings added 2.2% on the year to 647 in November, while the number of permits issued for civil engineering works soared by 42.1% to 153, the Croatian Bureau of Statistics said in a statement.
Out of the total number of permits issued in November, 80.9% were for new construction projects, while 19.1% were related to reconstruction works.
Based on the number of permits issued in November, 1,049 dwellings are planned to be built, up 11.8% year-on-year.
The total number of building permits issued in Croatia in January-November rose 5.6% year-on-year, reaching 9,082.
