April 15 (SeeNews) - The number of construction permits issued in Croatia in February stayed at the same level as in the same month last year, at 814, after rising by an annual 6.4% in the previous month, the national statistical office said.
The number of permits issued for buildings fell 4.1% on the year to 663 in February, while the number of permits issued for civil engineering works increased 23% to 151, the Croatian Bureau of Statistics said in a statement on Friday.
Out of the total number of permits issued in February, 72% were for new construction projects, while 28% were related to reconstruction.
Based on the number of permits issued in February, 1,437 dwellings were planned to be built, up 4.7% year-on-year.
