June 13 (SeeNews) - The number of construction permits issued in Croatia rose by 17.3% on the year in April, to 881, after growing 17.7% on an annual basis in the previous month to 956.
The number of permits issued for buildings rose 10.2% on the year to 702 in April, while the number of permits issued for civil engineering works increased 57% to 179, the Croatian Bureau of Statistics said in a statement on Wednesday.
Out of the total number of permits issued in April, 75% were for new construction projects, while 25% were related to reconstruction.
Based on the number of permits issued in April, 1,106 dwellings were planned to be built, up 37% year-on-year.
