November 12 (SeeNews) - The number of building permits issued in Croatia fell 9.6% year-on-year to 932 in September, after growing by an annual 8.9% in August, the statistical office said on Friday.
The number of permits issued for buildings fell by 6.5% year-on-year to 821 in September, while the number of permits issued for civil engineering projects dropped 27.5% to 111, the Croatian Bureau of Statistics said in a monthly report.
Out of all permits issued in September, 77.5% covered new construction projects, while 22.5% were issued for reconstruction works.
Based on the number of permits issued in September, 1,287 dwellings are planned to be built, down 13.9% year-on-year.
The number of building permits issued in the first nine months of 2021 rose 14% year-on-year.
