ZAGREB (Croatia), May 13 (SeeNews) - The number of building permits issued in Croatia fell by 7.9% year-on-year to 1,032 in March, the statistical office said on Friday.
The number of permits issued for buildings dipped 0.5% year-on-year to 918 in March, while the number of permits for civil engineering projects fell 42.1% to 114, the Croatian Bureau of Statistics said in a monthly report.
Out of all permits issued in March, 817 covered new construction projects, while 215 were issued for reconstruction works.
Based on the number of permits issued in March, 1,947 dwellings are planned to be built, up 19.2% on the year.
The number of building permits issued in Croatia rose by 12.2% year-on-year to 10,553 in 2021.
