January 16 (SeeNews) - The number of building permits issued in Croatia fell by 5.6% year-on-year to 780 in November, after increasing by 21.2% the previous month, official figures show.
The number of permits issued for buildings slightly rose by 0.1% to 633 in November, after rising by 18.5% in October, while the number of permits issued for civil engineering works dropped by 14.5% to 147, according to data released by the Croatian Bureau of Statistics earlier this week.
The planned value of works covered by all building permits issued in November reached 2.4 billion kuna ($368.7 million/323.1 million euro).
Out of the total number of permits issued in November, 560 covered new construction projects, while 220 were related to reconstruction works. Based on the number of permits, 938 dwellings were planned, down 27.6% year-on-year.
