Croatia's Belje Q1 non-cons net profit rises sharply

ZAGREB (Croatia), May 12 (SeeNews) - Croatian agriculture and food company Belje [ZSE:BLJE-R-A] said its non-consolidated net profit surged to 16.562 million kuna ($2.423 million/2.186 million euro) in the first quarter of 2015 from 3.742 million kuna in the same period a year earlier.

First-quarter operating profit grew to 56.780 million kuna from 54.216 million kuna in the year-ago period, Belje said in a bourse filing. Pre-tax profit went up to 16.562 million kuna from 3.742 million kuna in the first quarter of 2014.

Total revenue plunged to 333.671 million kuna from 426.871 million kuna in the first quarter of 2014.
