January 26 (SeeNews) - Croatian privately-owned network of polyclinics Aviva said on Wednesday it has taken over its radiology-focused peer Dijagnostika 2000 for an undisclosed sum and targets further similar acquisitions this year.
“We started a new investment plan with investments in Aviva's equipment, in our employees, as well as in top specialised polyclinics which give us market advantage,” Aviva director Nevenka Kovac said in a statement.

Croatia's Fortenova Group, successor to the collapsed food-to-retail concern Agrokor completed the sale of Aviva to local investment company Provectus Capital Partners in September last year.
Provectus Capital Partners invested in Aviva through Adriatic Structured Equity Fund and with financing from the same fund it supported Aviva to acquire Dijagnostika 2000, according to the statement.
“Dijagnostika 2000 will improve the position of Poliklinika Aviva in the segment of radiology diagnostics and will create value added for our more than 40,000 users,” said Igor Cicak, CEO and managing partner of Provectus Capital Partners.
