July 20 (SeeNews) - Croatia's average net monthly wage totalled 7,690 kuna ($1,043/1,023 euro) in May, down 2.3% year-on-year in real terms, the country's statistical office said on Wednesday.
In April, the average net monthly salary was 2.6% lower on the year in real terms.
On a monthly comparison basis, the average net monthly wage in May rose 0.5% in real terms, after it fell 3.3% in April, the Croatian Bureau of Statistics said in a statement.
The average gross monthly salary amounted to 10,440 kuna in May, up by a real 0.5% month-on-month and lower by 1.4% on the year.
Croatia's average net monthly wage totalled 7,129 kuna last year, up by a real 2.7% year-on-year.
