January 24 (SeeNews) - Croatia's average registered unemployment rate dropped to 12.4% last year, its lowest point since recording began in 2000, the local unit of Raiffeisen Bank International said on Wednesday.
In 2017, Croatia saw its lowest jobless rate of 10.8% over the summer months due to employment of seasonal workers, RBA said in a daily report.
Considering the expected positive macroeconomic developments in the year ahead, RBA said it expects the unemployment rate will continue falling.
RBA, however, warned that still present structural weaknesses in the Croatian labour market may pose a risk, such as imbalance between supply and demand for labour.
