July 28 (SeeNews) - Croatian shipping company Atlantska Plovidba [ZSE:ATPL] said on Thursday its net profit rose to 132.7 million kuna ($ 17.9 million/17.6 million euro) in the first half of this year, up from 45.1 million kuna in the same period of 2021.
Operating revenue increased to 299.8 million kuna in the six months through June from 193.5 million kuna in the same period of 2021, Atlantska said in a non-consolidated filing to the Zagreb bourse.
The company's total revenue expanded to 305.7 million kuna from 195.6 million kuna, while its costs rose to 173 million kuna from 150.6 million kuna.
The company had 37 employees at the end of June, when its fleet consisted of 12 bulk carriers with a total DWT of 750,600.
Shares of Atlantska Plovidba traded 2.46% higher at 458 kuna on the Zagreb bourse intraday on Thursday.
