ZAGREB (Croatia), June 21 (SeeNews) - Croatian shipping company Atlantska Plovidba [ZSE:ATPL] said it will propose to its shareholders to distribute a dividend of 20 kuna ($2.8/2.7 euro) per share for 2021, after it skipped dividend payment last year.

On June 20, the company's management board approved the audited consolidated report for last year and took a decision to propose to its shareholders to distribute dividend, Atlantska said in a filing to the Zagreb bourse late on Monday.

According to the consolidated report, the company booked a net profit of 485.4 million kuna for 2021, following a net loss of 94.3 million kuna for 2020.

The shareholders will vote on the proposal on July 28.

Last year, the shareholders decided to cover from retained profit 17.1 million kuna out of its net loss of 35.7 million kuna for 2020, and to transfer the remaining 18.6 million kuna for payment with the company's future profit.

The company's shares changed hands flat at 490 kuna intraday on Tuesday on the Zagreb bourse and were the most traded stock with a turnover of 1.3 million kuna.
