March 1 (SeeNews) - Croatian shipping company Atlantska Plovidba [ZSE:ATPL] said its consolidated net profit last year dropped to 53.5 million kuna ($7.6 million/7.1 million euro) from 444.6 million kuna though its EBITDA rose by more than 25%.
EBITDA reached 339.8 million kuna, up from 270.1 million kuna, the company said in an unaudited consolidated financial report published on the Zagreb bourse after the end of the trading session on Tuesday.
Operating revenue grew to 624.1 million kuna from 481.6 million kuna, while EBIT fell to 98.9 million kuna from 492.6 million kuna.
Total costs surged to 594.1 million kuna from 47 million kuna in 2021.
At the end of the last year, the group’s fleet consisted of 11 bulkcarriers with an overall 693.121 dwt. It had 166 employees.
Atlantska Plovidba was the most traded company and the biggest daily gainer intraday Wednesday on the Zagreb bourse.
The company’s shares surged 7.81% to 58 euro and the bourse put them in the segment of monitoring due to an announced proposal for a dividend of 5 euro per share.
