December 19 (SeeNews) - Croatia's Atlantic Grupa [ZSE:ATGR] said on Tuesday it expects to close 2017 with 520 million kuna ($81.4 million/68.9 million euro) EBITDA, up 9.6% on the year and 45 million kuna more than predicted in October.
The company's EBIT is expected to rise 12.1% on the year to 345 million kuna at end-December, or 35 million kuna above plan, Atlantic Grupa said in a filing with the Zagreb Stock Exchange.
The growth in profitability is a result of a more favourable customer mix, positive developments on regional and Russian markets, more efficient market investments and strict control of expenses and risks, the company explained.
Atlantic Grupa expects sales revenues of 5.3 billion kuna in 2017, up 3.8% year-on-year.
Atlantic Grupa is a regional distributor of fast-moving consumer goods and a producer of functional foods and supplements. It also owns a pharmacy chain in Croatia.
