November 24 (SeeNews) - Croatian consumer goods distributor Atlantic Grupa [ZSE:ATGR] said on Wednesday it owns 15,591 own shares, representing 0.47% of its total share capital, after repurchasing 3,851 stocks on Monday.
Atlantic Grupa bought back the shares at an average price of 1,580 kuna ($235/210 euro) apiece, it said in a bourse filing.
Atlantic Grupa's share capital of 133.4 million kuna is divided into 3,334,300 shares of 40 kuna in par value each, bourse data shows.
The company announced in March it plans to buy back up to 22,000 of its own shares this year. Atlantic Grupa will offer the repurchased shares to employees at the company or its associate firms as part of an employee share option programme, it added in an earlier bourse filing.
Shares of Atlantic Grupa traded at 1,590 kuna on the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) intraday on Wednesday, down 0.63% from the previous closing price.
